Reviews

I have (and have enjoyed) the 2016-2017 16 month coloring planner so I was excited to find that another one would be produced for 2017-2018. I ordered this as soon as the pre-purchase option became available. Now I wish I had waited to see it in person before purchasing. The drawings are wonderful, of course. There is a nice assortment of drawings from Johanna's various books, so you get a lot of variety in this planner, which is great. The disappointment lies in the selection of paper used for this planner. The drawings and calendar printing are very visible through the pages and that is quite distracting. I compared the pages in this planner to the pages in last year's planner and there is a world of difference in how easily you can see through the pages in this one. This wasn't a problem in last year's planner.I'll keep the book and use it for my planner next year, but I doubt I'll be coloring in it much. The translucency of the pages is too distracting for me. I won't be ordering another one for the 2018-2019 year (if they become available) without seeing the paper in one first. If having the images visible through the pages isn't an issue for you, then you might very well enjoy the planner because the pictures are great. Also of note, the pages in last year's planner were white. The pages in this new planner are more of a yellowish, like some of her books. Not an issue for me, but worth noting for those that prefer one type over the other. Not sure why the publisher had to change the paper for this one.Had I seen this planner in person before purchasing, I would not have bought it.
